Qualifications: LL.B (Hons.), Dip.L.P., N.P
Our Ross Jenkins was born and raised in Greenock, before attending the University of Strathclyde to study law. He graduated with an Honours LLB Degree in 2016, before completing a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. He completed a traineeship with a Glasgow based criminal defence firm, and continued to work in private practice before accepting an offer to join the team at David Kinloch and Co.
Mr Jenkins is primarily based in our Saracen Street Office and predominately deals with criminal defence work. He deals with a wide range of cases, representing clients charged with drug offences, road traffic matters, and many others. Mr Jenkins also has a successful track record of representing clients in relation to Proceeds of Crime cases. There is rarely a day when he is not appearing in Court, and has appeared in courts all across Scotland: from Inverness in the Highlands, to Jedburgh in the Borders. He has even travelled to Belfast to represent a client for a Police Interview.
In addition to representing our clients in criminal cases, Mr Jenkins also assists our High Street Office with civil matters, including Family Law and Child Law cases.
Mr Jenkins has a positive, professional relationship with our client, who often comment on his ability to reassure them during times of difficulty, while giving his upmost to secure the best results for our clients. From Justice of the Peace Court cases, to murder trials in the High Court, our Mr Jenkins always ensures to represent our clients to the best of his ability.
Away from the law, our Mr Jenkins has previously carried out voluntary work caring for the elderly and has been involved in local politics. However, anyone who knows our Mr Jenkins will tell you that his real passion is football, aside from representing our clients, of course.
Mr Jenkins is a vital member of the team and David Kinloch and Co., and you can be sure that you are in good hands with him on your side.
